En la actividad colabora la delegación Municipal de Medio Ambiente y la Asociación ENEA
Un grupo de alumnos de quinto de primaria del Colegio Al-Yussana, junto con una decena de usuarios de la Asociación de Alzheimer Nuestros Ángeles, acudían a la Vía Verde para llevar a cabo la plantación de árboles de distintas especies para conmemorar el Día Forestal Mundial.
Bajo el lema “Sembrando recuerdos” la actividad se ha convertido en una iniciativa de cooperación y relación intergeneracional entre los estudiantes y los usuarios del colectivo de Alzheimer.
Los participantes han plantado más de 30 ejemplares de especies autóctonas como Encinas, Albarrobos, o Almeces.
La técnico de Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento de Lucena, Mayra Gómez, explicaba el contenido de la actividad.
Desde el colegio Al-Yussana, Fernando Ginés, Coordinador del Programa Aldea, indicaba que se trata de una actividad muy interesante en la que 30 escolares del colegio disfrutan de paseos en bici por este enclave natural y participan en su reforestación.
José Cobo, de la Asociación ENEA, se mostraba contento de colaborar con otras tres entidades en la mejora del Medio ambiente en la Vía Verde, favoreciendo la nidificación de aves y haciendo más agradable el entorno a las personas que disfrutan de este espacio.
Desde la Asociación de Enfermos de Alzheimer Nuestros Ángeles, su presidente, Antonio Ramírez, indicaba que con esta actividad los usuarios de la asociación salen de su rutina diaria y se reencuentran con sus recuerdos.
“Sembrando recuerdos” es una actividad de educación ambiental, sensibilización y concienciación ciudadana que organiza la delegación de Medio Ambiente en pos a la promoción y conservación del medio natural. Se impulsa así las acciones previstas en el marco de la Sostenibilidad encuadradas en la Agenda Urbana Local, el Plan Municipal del Cambio Climático, el Plan Estratégico para la Red de huertos urbanos y el Plan Local de Salud, pilares que marcan el camino de acción hacia una mejora de calidad de vida en la ciudad.
