La entidad lucentina se encuentra en el ‘ecuador’ en la confección de su plantilla para la próxima temporada.
Desde la llegada al club del nuevo director deportivo, en los despachos del Ciudad de Lucena se ha venido trabajando en la configuración de un proyecto deportivo al que todavía le quedan muchas piezas por determinar. No obstante, la gran dificultad que se está encontrando Salva Serrano es debido a la ‘inflación’ en este mercado estival de fichajes, por parte de clubes como la Balompédica Linense y el Dos Hermanas CF, que está condicionando al resto de clubes de la quinta categoría del fútbol español.
De momento, el club de Lucena ha oficializado un total de 5 renovaciones (José Cruz, Manu Molina, Nacho Fernández, Rafa Castilla y Alberto García), mientras que quedan pendientes de confirmación las de David Agudo, Joseliyo y Manosalva (caso aparte, el lesionado Carlos Mora que también continuará). Por su parte, en el capítulo de nuevas incorporaciones, el Ciudad de Lucena ha anunciado 6 fichajes; Pepote, Miguel Aponte, Manolillo, Jaime Ortiz, Ale Benítez y Tole.
De esta manera, hasta hoy jueves, la plantilla lucentina cuenta con 11 futbolistas, la mitad de lo que debería ser un equipo que quiere aspirar al ascenso. Teniendo en cuenta de las diferentes líneas para que funcione un equipo de fútbol, el Ciudad de Lucena debe de fichar aún a dos nuevos porteros; uno o dos defensas centrales y posiblemente, un lateral derecho; en el centro del campo, faltarían entre dos y tres futbolistas que jueguen por dentro; mientras que, en ataque, el equipo lucentino debe incorporar dos delanteros y un extremo, como mínimo.
