El Ayuntamiento licita la cubierta de la Cueva del Ángel con el objeto de retomar las excavaciones

Los trabajos cuentan con un presupuesto de licitación de 113.000 euros

Según informaba el alcalde de Lucena, Aurelio Fernández, el Ayuntamiento ha publicado la licitación de la cubierta de la Cueva del Ángel por un presupuesto de 113.000 euros. El plazo de presentación de ofertas permanecerá abierto hasta el 15 de agosto.

Según Fernández, con este proyecto se pretenden recuperar las excavaciones en el yacimiento arqueológico. Además, el primer edil lucentino que se va a proponer una reunión a tres bandas entre la Fundación Cueva del Ángel, la Universidad de Córdoba y el propio consistorio para que se puedan entender ambas instituciones en el trabajo en pro del yacimiento.

Aurelio Fernández indicó que se pretender dar pasos adelante y no detener un proyecto de gran importancia que hay que reactivar.
