Ya se ha adjudicado el servicio a la firma UNEI, con sede en Sevilla. Este mes se espera que esta empresa firme el contrato con el consistorio.
El concejal delegado de Personal del Ayuntamiento de Lucena, Francis Aguilar, explicaba que el consistorio rescindió el contrato con la empresa adjudicataria de los servicios en los edificios municipales, Serlingo, el pasado mes de diciembre. Según Aguilar, la empresa ya comunicó en junio del año pasado a los trabajadores que se iban a presentar a un concurso voluntario de acreedores.
Desde esa fecha, según el responsable de Personal se han mantenido distintas reuniones y han realizado varios escritos con el objeto de velar por la situación de los trabajadores.
Una vez decretado el concurso voluntario de acreedores, según el edil municipal, los procesos se han ido dilatando, y los trabajadores comenzaron a cobrar sus nóminas con retraso.
En ese momento, el consistorio decidió intervenir la garantía a la empresa, que asciende a 18.000 euros, y que se utilizaría para pagar las nóminas en el caso de que Serlingo no cumpla.
Además, se ha informado al Juzgado de lo Mercantil de los pagos que el Ayuntamiento ha realizado a la empresa con el objeto de que sirvan para pagar los salarios .
En este sentido, Francis Aguilar, reiteró que el consistorio está dando todos los pasos para que los trabajadores cobren sus nóminas y se ha impulsado de manera urgente una nueva licitación. El servicio se adjudicó a finales de diciembre a la empresa UNEI, con sede en Sevilla con la que se espera firmar el contrato a lo largo de este mes de febrero.
El edil de Personal, manifestó que desde el equipo de gobierno se entiende el malestar de los trabajadores, pero reiteró que el consistorio ha hecho todo lo que está en sus manos para solucionar esta situación lo antes posible.
