El Ayuntamiento recibe a los alumnos del Colegio Al-Yussana que han ganado el Premio Nacional Retotech

El centro presentaba el trabajo “Siembra tu futuro” con la colaboración de la Asociación de Familiares y Enfermos de Alzheimer “Nuestros Ángeles”

Una representación del equipo de gobierno, encabezada por el alcalde, Aurelio Fernández y con la presencia de los ediles de Educación y Cultura, Miriam Ortiz y Francisco Barbancho, recibía a un grupo de alumnos del Colegio Al-Yussana que han ganado el Premio Nacional Retotech, por su proyecto “Siembra tu futuro”.

La maestra del centro, Lourdes Parra, explicaba la finalidad de esta iniciativa con la que pretendían buscar soluciones a enfermedades neurodegenerativas a través de los huertos escolares.

El alcalde, Aurelio Fernández, destacaba la importante labor desarrollada por estos jóvenes conjuntamente con la Asociación de Alzheimer. En esta edición del concurso han participado más de 12.000 alumnos y 285 centros educativos.

Los alumnos galardonados nos explicaban en qué consiste el proyecto y la experiencia en la final del certamen que tuvo lugar el pasado 18 de junio en la capital de España.

El colegio Al-Yussana disputó  la final en representación de Andalucía y su proyecto se ha medido con el de otros institutos y colegios de España. Desde su inicio en 2016, RetoTech ha involucrado a más de 53.000 alumnos y profesores de casi 1.200 centros, consolidándose como un referente en la promoción de la educación STEM.
