EL COF abre sus puertas para recibir donaciones en la Campaña de Navidad 2024

Las aportaciones irán destinadas a las cinco Cáritas Parroquiales de Lucena y al Comedor Social Virgen de Araceli

Los días centrales de esta acción benéfica serán hoy viernes  20 de diciembre y mañana sábado 21. La sede del COF, en la calle Maristas 6, permanece abierta de 10 de la mañana  a dos  de la tarde y de cinco a nueve de la noche.

Alrededor de 800 personas, de las cuales el 80 por ciento  son españolas, son atendidas por Cáritas de las cinco Parroquias de Lucena además, entre 50 y 60 personas utilizan a diario en el Comedor Social “Virgen de Araceli”.

Según explicaban desde el COF, “la situación que estamos viviendo de necesidad de tantas familias la sociedad lucentina no puede permanecer al margen y por eso el Centro de Orientación Familiar “San Juan Pablo II” organiza un año más un evento solidario para recaudar fondos para financiar estos proyectos solidarios de las Cáritas lucentinas.

Un año más este proyecto se ha  denominado Campaña de Navidad “Donativo a Familias Necesitadas” y la recaudación será solamente ECONÓMICA ya que los alimentos básicos están en parte siendo suministrados durante el año por el Banco de Alimentos pero la necesidad de complementar los mismos con otros que no son aportados por las donaciones y la financiación del Comedor Social nos hace continuar con este formato.

Esta campaña solidaria culmina con la apertura del Centro de Orientación Familiar “San Juan Pablo II” situado en la calle Maristas N.º 6 Bajo durante hoy y mañana para recoger los DONATIVOS de todas las personas que quieran colaborar.
