El plazo concedido a las autoridades expira este miércoles, 13 de noviembre, y mañana, a las 19.30 horas decidirán que actuaciones llevarán a cabo.

Los colectivos que reclaman un hospital y mejoras sanitarias para Lucena han mantenido sendas reuniones con representantes de los grupos políticos municipales y el alcalde de Lucena, Aurelio Fernández.

En concreto, el pasado lunes mantuvieron un encuentro con Ciudadanos, IU y PSOE en el transcurso del cual los miembros de las plataformas solicitaron primero, y obtuvieron después, el respaldo de los partidos políticos ante el posible inicio de acciones de protesta ante la falta de soluciones por parte de las autoridades regionales implicadas.

En este sentido cabe recordar que el pasado 5 de noviembre estos colectivos ya anunciaron que este miércoles, 13 de noviembre, concluye el plazo de dos semanas que habían concedido para obtener respuestas a cerca de las mejoras sanitarias de la ciudad.

De hecho, está previsto que los integrantes de estas plataformas ser reúnan este jueves, a las 19,30 h., en el Centro Cívico El Valle al objeto de tomar cualquier determinación e iniciar acciones reivindicativas si tal y como se prevé no se da solución a sus reivindicaciones.

Cabe recordar que en su comparecencia ante los medios de comunicación de primeros de mes ya anunciaron que estaban dispuestos a protagonizar un encierro en un centro de salud y a llevar a cabo una campaña de información, dos días al mes, para que la ciudadanía conozca que a tenor del decreto de garantías del SAS que recoge los plazos máximos permitidos para prestaciones de especialistas, citas quirúrgicas y consultas externas, el ciudadano tiene derecho a denunciar por incumplimiento de estos plazos.

La segunda reunión ha tenido lugar este martes en el despacho de alcaldía con el primer edil, Aurelio Fernández quien les ha trasladado su doble malestar, por un lado, por la falta de avances en la mejora de la situación sanitaria de Lucena y por otro por las últimas declaraciones e intenciones de las plataformas.

Hay que apuntar que, calmados los ánimos iniciales, desde los colectivos implicados han solicitado al alcalde que haga todo lo posible para lograr un grupo de apoyo que, por horas, complemente la labor de los profesionales sanitarios de urgencias permitiendo así a estos un mínimo descanso. Petición sobre la que el alcalde se ha comprometido a trabajar.
