La Guardia Civil de Lucena celebra el día de la Virgen del Pilar con una eucaristía en la Parroquia del Carmen

La Guardia Civil de Lucena celebraba el día de su patrona, la Virgen del  Pilar con motivo del 12 de octubre.  Como es tradicional en este acto, el  alcalde de Lucena, Aurelio Fernández, representaba a la corporación municipal, y se sumaba  también la primera teniente de alcalde, María de la O Redondo, y otros concejales  de la corporación municipal lucentina.

En  la eucaristía, que tuvo lugar a las 12 del mediodía la Parroquia del Carmen, con los representantes de este cuerpo de seguridad en Lucena, junto con el Comisario de la Policía Nacional, José Luis Puertas Terán o el Inspector Jefe de la Policía Local de Lucena, José Pino. La Eucaristía fue presidida por  Eugenio Bujalance , párroco de la Iglesia del Carmen.

Al final de la eucaristía tuvo lugar un homenaje a los agentes caídos de la Guardia Civil, depositando  una corona de laurel ante la imagen de la Virgen del Pilar.

Tras la eucaristía tuvo lugar en la Manzana de Adán un acto oficial y de convivencia en el que fueron reconocidos por su servicio algunos agentes de la Comandancia de la Guardia Civil de Lucena.
