Las plataformas esperan tener más suerte con la nueva Consejera de Salud y que sea más sensible a las reivindicaciones de Lucena

Mantienen su solicitud de una reunión urgente con la responsable de Sanidad de la Junta de Andalucía

El presidente de la Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, anunciaba los cambios en su Gobierno. El principal cambio y el que más atañe a Lucena tiene que ver con la Consejería de Salud, reconociendo así, los problemas de la sanidad pública denunciados por sindicatos y usuarios en numerosos puntos de nuestra región. En este sentido,  Catalina García, pasará a ocupar el cargo de consejera de Sostenibilidad y Medio Ambiente, mientras que la nueva responsable sanitaria de Andalucía será Rocío Hernández Soto, anteriormente directora de la zona sanitaria Aljarafe Sevilla Norte. Es a ella, a la que ahora se deberán dirigir tanto las plataformas como el alcalde para solicitar una reunión que permita poner sobre la mesa los problemas que sufre Lucena en el ámbito sanitarios.

La nueva consejera de Salud y Consumo nació en Sevilla y es médica especializada en Pediatría. Desde marzo de 2019 desempeña el cargo de directora-gerente del Distrito Sanitario de Atención Primaria Aljarafe-Sevilla Norte. Cuenta con una dilatada experiencia en puestos de dirección de salud y desde junio de 2022 también ocupa el cargo de presidenta de la Sociedad Española de Directivos de Atención Primaria.

La remodelación trae también cambios en la Consejería de cultura y Deporte, que pierde Turismo. Arturo Bernal se queda con esta última área, mientras que Cultura regresa a Patricia del Pozo. La nueva consejera de Educación será Carmen Castillo, y la nueva portavoz de ejecutivo andaluz será Carolina España.
