Las Piscinas Municipales San Hugo de Palma de Mallorca han acogido, recientemente, el Campeonato de España Absoluto por Comunidades Autónomas de Natación Adaptada. En esta cita mallorquina, el pódium por equipos lo ha encabezado Cataluña en primera posición; el segundo puesto ha sido para la Comunidad Valenciana y el tercero para la Comunidad de Madrid.
Por su parte, Andalucía ha finalizado en la 5ª posición por equipos. La comunidad andaluza estuvo representada por un total de 25 nadadores (18 chicos y 7 chicas) pertenecientes a las Federaciones Andaluzas de Deportes para Personas con Discapacidad Física, Intelectual y de Parálisis Cerebral.
Representando a la Selección Andaluza estuvo la deportista lucentina Mari Carmen Pino Servían participado en la prueba de 50 metros libres donde bajó su marca personal para terminar en el puesto 23 de la clasificación general de Multidiscapacidad y en el 3° puesto en la clase S7.
Mari Carmen Pino también formó parte del equipo de relevos mixtos 4 x 100 metros libres junto a Jaime Montero, Aitana Estrada y Raúl Palomino. En esta prueba, la nadadora de Lucena consiguió un 4° puesto.
