La bandera será inaugurada el día de la Constitución.
El gobierno municipal del PP ha decido instalar una bandera de España, con unas dimensiones de 3×2,5 metros, sobre un mástil de 12 metros de altura, en el paseo de El Coso.
Ási, la Plaza de España contará con una bandera de nuestra nación que será inaugurada el próximo 6 de diciembre coincidiendo con los actos institucionales previstos con motivo del Día de la Constitución.
Una empresa local, Construcciones Francisco Peñalver Córdoba, ya está ultimando los trabajos de instalación de la base que servirá para la colocación del mástil de la bandera, empresa que también se ha ocupado de actuar en la zona donde recientemente se había ubicado un letrero con la palabra Lucena.
En este caso se ha procedido a la retirada del letrero, se ha ejecutado una plataforma de hormigón y se ha vuelto a restituir el letrero en su lugar primitivo. Con esta iniciativa se ha tratado de dotar de una mejor accesibilidad y de un firme más idóneo para que las personas que así lo deseen puedan acercarse y realizar una fotografía de recuerdo.
