La Policía Local de Lucena celebra el día de su patrón con la entrega de sus condecoraciones anuales

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena celebraba el pasado viernes  la tradicional fiesta patronal de la Policía Local con la habitual entrega de distinciones y condecoraciones a diferentes agentes por sus méritos profesionales, así como a ciudadanos y representantes de entidades que en el último año han colaborado con esta institución.

Los actos se abrían al mediodía con una misa en la iglesia de San Pedro Mártir para seguir, a continuación, en los Jardines Palacio de la Dehesa con una amplia representación de la Corporación municipal, encabezada por el alcalde, Juan Pérez y el concejal de Seguridad Ciudadana, José Pedro Moreno, acompañados por el inspector jefe de la Policía Local, José Pino, y los responsables en Lucena tanto de Policía Nacional como de la Guardia Civil.

En esta ocasión, han recibido la Cruz al mérito policial con distinto blanco los policías José Antonio Ríos Portillo, José Luis Arjona Leiva, Alejandro Lozano Soler, Antonio José Henares Crespo, Jesús Javier Tinoco de la Rosa, Sergio Cruz Moscoso, Antonio Ramírez Burguillos y Jesús Manuel Dorado Delgado.  Completaban el listado de galardones en la categoría de felicitación del Pleno los agentes José Antonio Capote Gómez y Manuel Polo Osuna.

Para esta edición de 2023, se han concedido la medalla de la Policía Local a los ciudadanos Miguel Ocaña Castilla, Matilde Dorado Delgado, Manuel Muñoz Bujalance, Sergio Guardeño Cuenca y Aarón Rodríguez Chacón, por su colaboración con la Policía Local, así como al inspector jefe del Cuerpo Nacional de la Comisaría Lucena-Cabra, José Luis Puertas Terán.

Por último, los policías Francisco Manuel Pineda Carrasco y Antonio Vicente Cano han obtenido la medalla a la permanencia en su categoría Plata al haber cumplidos 20 años de servicio efectivos en el cuerpo.

El inspector de la Policía Local de Lucena, José Pino, y el concejal delegado de Seguridad Ciudadana, José Pedro Moreno se referían a la importancia de este acto y a la necesidad de continuar aumentando la plantilla de este cuerpo de seguridad para conseguir una ciudad más segura.
