Lucena registró 109.856 usuarios a lo largo de 2024
La Mancomunidad de la Subbética gestiona la Vía Verde del Aceite en el tramo de la Subbética, es decir desde el Viaducto del Guadajoz en Luque hasta la pedanía de las Navas del Selpillar.
Además de las tareas de gestión y promoción de la Vía Verde en el tramo de la Subbética, que se enfocan especialmente en la promoción del uso turístico con el objetivo de contribuir al desarrollo económico de los municipios incluidos en el trazado, además cuenta con contadores que permiten tomar datos sobre el comportamiento de los usuarios de la Vía Verde.
La Mancomunidad dispone de tres contadores a lo largo del recorrido. Mediante estos dispositivos se puede cuantificar el número de ciclistas y peatones que utilizan la Vía Verde. Éstos se encuentran ubicados en las cercanías de las Estaciones de la Vía Verde de Lucena, Cabra y Doña Mencía.
Del informe se desprende que 300 usuarios, entre ciclistas y peatones, utilizan el tramo de Vía Verde que pasa por Lucena, de media cada día.
El número total de usuarios a lo largo de 2024 ascendió a 109.856 personas.
Los meses de mayor afluencia de usuarios en todos los tramos son entre marzo y abril y a partir de septiembre hasta noviembre incluido.
Por otra parte los días de mayor afluencia, tienen lugar los fines de semana.
El tramo más visitado de la Vía Verde del Aceite es el de Cabra con una media diaria de 463 usuarios y 168.989 visitantes a lo largo de todo el año. Le sigue el tramo de Doña Mencía, con unos datos similares a Lucena y 310 usuarios al día.
