Durante la tarde del sábado 9 de noviembre ha sido trasladada en solemne procesión, de manera extraordinaria, la imagen de la devota Virgen del Carmen desde la parroquia de Santo Domingo hasta su parroquia, en uno de los altozanos de la ciudad.
La comitiva la abrió, tras la cruz de guía y los faroles, la banda de cornetas y tambores Maestro Valero, de Aguilar de la Frontera. Tras las representaciones de las diversas corporaciones cofrades de la ciudad y escoltada por un cuerpo de acólitos ceriferarios se nos mostraba en su trono la imagen de la Virgen del Carmen.
Tras recorrer la calle Juan Jiménez Cuenca y llegar hasta San Francisco, la comitiva llegó hasta la mítica vuelta de la llave para subir por la calle de Las Torres y la Cuesta del Reloj a la Plaza Nueva por el lateral de plateros para, tras tomar la calle de la Villa y la calle Flores desembocar a la calle Ancha donde fue recibida por la Hermandad del Sagrado Encuentro y encaminarse hacia la Barrera por la calle de los Ballesteros y llegar hasta la Parroquia del Carmen por la cuesta del mismo nombre.
A continuación le dejamos una amplia galería de la procesión extraordinaria de Nuestra Señora del Carmen que pone fin a un amplio calendario de salidas extraordinarias que se han desgranado a lo largo del otoño lucentino.
